It is at the quieter end of Southend and is nice for a stroll along the front, beach huts towards the end near Shoebury common beach and parking is fairly easy outside of busy weekends and holidays. Ether along the front or in the field car park just before Maplin way.

There are an abundance of colourful beach huts Which date back to Victorian days . There is a cafe at the end of the beach that serves cold / warm snacks / drinks ice creams and the like so something there for all ages .
